Sunrise Dryers

Custom Drying Fruits and Vegetables

Who We are

Our Background

20 years ago, Jim Samuel saw fruit going from fresh pick to landfill. He knew someday that there would be a market for imperfect fruit to be dried. Fast forward to 2022 and his sons took his dream and made it a reality when they took over a former Sunsweet Prune yard in Colusa to dry fruit to his families exact needs

What We Do

We take customers needs and custom dry fruit to their exact standards. By taking over an existing dry yard we have two fruit dippers and up to 72 tunnels that allows us to dry multiple types of fruit year round. Most fruit yards can only dry one fruit at a time; we can do more. Just ask!

Our Team

We were blessed to bring a team on to run our yard that has been in the fruit drying business for over 30 years. By bringing in an experienced team, we are able to not only hear a customers needs, but fulfill them by using 3 decades of drying experience to produce perfect fruit every time.
